Well we've all been through it. If you haven't you'll soon be through it. There will be a time when you'll be boiling up and ready to blow your top off at someone. Today i learnt much from anger. Sometimes it pays to hold it in until it resides.
Just a minor conflict with my dad kinda nearly got out of hand. Well, i held my temper in for about 10 minutes. Sure, i really did want to let it all out right into his face but i held it in until things calmed down. Then i figured that i found out that the conflict (originally i thought it was my dads fault) was actually my fault. Had i burst out, i wouldv'e done some pretty nasty things and embarrased myself too.
God told us to be 'quick to listen, slow to speak slow to anger' (somewhere in John, can't remember so stop teasing me ). It's a good idea to take into heart as well. You'll never know when the next boom may cost you more than you bargained for .
So whenever you feel like exploding, just keep it in for a while. Give yourself some time to cool down and think things through. There's no point in getting angry when you can't think of anything except a ton of cuss words that never lead to any solution except an amplification of the conflict.
Oooh, i'm sounding a little more technical now .
