  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

today i need to catch up on laundry.

I'm not feeling well, so taking care of the boys is about all i'm up for!

I do have to get to the village office sometime soon to get our neighbor's addresses. we need to send out the registered letters b4 6/6th.
The public hearing for our variance will be on 6/16th. Please pray this goes through.

today was the dentist day for the boys.
then i dropped Nick off to school, and stephen to preschool.
raked a bit..then it rained. blech!
did some more laundry.
found out i have to send 58 registered letters to the people within 500 ft of our house...stupid variance!
tomorrow...my dentist appt.

yesterday was too busy to come on...
washed, dried, folded & put away 4 loads of laundry.
did the dishes
wrote a letter to our neighbors and printed 58 copies of it (for the variance meeting).
started the labels for the mailing.
had my dentist appt (while we were there, we went out to lunch and visited the Christmas Tree Shop!)

today: printed out 58 copies of our graph for the new porch to include in our mailing.

have to take Stephen to/from preschool
Nick has no school today
Jake has an ear infection.
have to clean the house...sweep/mop floors, change bed linens, dust, vacuum, dishes.
return videos
(i still have yet to hang my living room curtains!!)

so far today:
laundry
post ofc to mail 49 certified letters for our public hearing
had to pay a few bills in person..otherwise they would be late!
return movies
go to walmart for a few items
drive Stephen to/from preschool
drop off a soil sample
we rototilled our garden, now i need to buy plants to put in it! LOL!
now...what's for dinner? Oh! that's another thread! LOL!

today I raked and cleared some more brush, which took me almost all day! and i'm still not done!
we put the pool up for the boys...this year we got a small bean pot pool with a filter so i don't have to empty and refill it every day!
i bought underwear for Jake...will attempt to potty train him this weekend!

It was raining all morning, now the sun is out. It's almost 5pm, so i have to get started on dinner.
the boys are outside riding their bikes in the driveway...grandpa is watching them...so i still have to spy on them! LOL!
I uploaded pic from our Day out with Thomas.
The 2 older boys' birthdays are coming up in July, so i have to start planning & reserving places, if necessary.
The boys have a party to go to next weekend, so i will need to buy a gift.
Still have brush to clear...will not get to it this weekend, too busy, and the weather is supposed to be up into the 90's!
oh yeah...potty training begins tomorrow!! Count down to no diapers begins now!! LOL!
laundry is done for now.
bills are done for now.
oh! almost forgot...have to plan a graduation party for Stephen...he's graduating pre-school next friday!
Then there's Father's day on the 14th! YIKES!
Time is getting away from me!

today i did my dishes and got the boys out of the house.
they played until they got hot, then they went in the pool.
Jake didn't like the big boy pool, so i inflated the toddler pool and he had a grand ol' time!
then i put the sprinkler on! they had a blast!
between all that and running in & out getting meals & snacks, and changing them in/out of their bathing suits at least 3 times, i didn't really have time to potty train jake.
oh well...

I cleaned our kitchen the day I promised... today I feel better, I tried to sleep more during our 24h.

I must do some little things in computer (sending bills, hanging up an appartmentadvertisement etc.). I also need to call for doctors appointment for the baby and for son. My son needs also an appointment with our hairdresser. I also have to chose windows and doors for our house and hang clothes for to dry. I need to do some more laundry also. Lets see...

I discovered I need 10 hours nightsleep (with 2 interruptions for breast-feeding). And if I can not do that I need sleep during daytime with kids, sometimes only 30 min is enough. It was impossible for me before, but I learned to.. because we must survive! Well I must also add, that I am not so very disciplined in sleeping at all... I feel excausted quit often, but hope I learn...

I love doing that faith! they are so sweet when they are sleeping!

this week's has been nuts!
monday was our variance public hearing...no one showed to oppose our porch...so the board just voted right there and we have been approved!
now we need to contact our contractor and set up ground-breaking day!
Nick's school trip was canceled on monday, but i wound up going to the place anyway, because the school didn't call me!! :o so i packed the other two boys up and brought them to grandma's. when i got there they said the school canceled so i had to go back to grandma's and pick up the boys and then do it all over again this morning!
Nick's school trip was fun. we went to the magic forest in lake george. not the cleanest of spots, but nick had fun on the rides.
afterwards, we had to pick up stephen and jake from grandma's, then head home to get an early dinner.
Tonight is Nick's Rainbow concert. the kids made tied-died t-shirts in all colors of the rainbow. Nick's class got the color red. the other kindegarten classes had colors such as orange, yellow, blue, green, pink, etc. it should be fun.
tomorrow is nick's field day, then thursday is stephen's kindegarten screening. whew!
i signed nick and stephen up for soccer in the fall.
that is all folks! SYL!
