First post here. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post in. I was just trying to get some advice on a birthday gift to get, and I wanted to get something Catholic related. This site didn't have a store associated with it (I think), so I didn't feel pressure about asking questions here.
So I did some looking around found a lot of sites with books, movies, CDs, art, statues, jewelry, etc. I'm not to sure that I should get a book, movie, or CD because everyone's tastes can vary so much on them. Art and statues seemed to be too expensive for me right now, so I was leaning towards jewelry - unless anyone has other good suggestions. How do you guys feel about the patron saint medals? That seemed like a good idea. I also came across these: ourcatholicstore.net/Store/catalog/Catholic-Jewelry,112.aspx that seemed to jump out at me. Do you guys think a new cross or crucifix necklace would be a good gift to receive from someone (sterling silver or gold filled, not the 14 karat)? Or does anyone have any other advice of good gifts they have received?
