I missed part one of the finale.

But I am worried from previews, that the show might be circling the shark tank.(in lew of "jumping the shark".)

The mysterious beings stalking her have been interesting, but they need to be careful.

Some power is preventing people from crossing over.
The person holding the power will let them go if he gets melinda?

If there is a god, then no being can stop people from crossing over. Going into the light.

Without God where does the light go?

I missed the ending...I was watching at the gym, but they only have TV's in the second floor, not on the floor with the weights so I missed everything after.. I think after she was talking to the families telling them their loved ones were there....

So what happened? Who did the guy in the hat represent? What was he doing? Is Andrea dead? Undead? Are we left with an understanding it's not quite over?

• Andrea is dead. *sigh* She didn't know until the end of part II when her brother came and talked to Melinda. (I cried so hard) I sort of knew that she was last week when she came in the store...Just the way Melinda looked at her and said "oh Andrea..."
• definitely NOT over. The last shot was the guy in the hat coming towards Andrea. she hadn't crossed yet.

Yes and even more trivia... He was in that Anthony Hopkins movie... with Nicole Kidman... (can't think of name of it) He played the young Anthony Hopkins.

Nice theory on the anti-Melinda kind of spoke like the devil which I found interesting...

That whole scene where Melinda began to cry and say that she "had lost too much already" that killed me... Great Epi!!!! was doing this----> the whole time!

I couldn't believe the whole Andrea thing...my mom and I were STILL talking about it the next day! I had no idea she was dead, but I DID think it was odd that she wore the same clothes she had on the day of the crash for days afterwards, and Melinda didn't tell her to go home and change or something. That totally should have given me a clue!

Andrea was killed by the plane crashing into her car.
Very well played and well written. (But hated the show)
The flash in our house as me and my wife realized she was dead was blinding.
not good when they kill off 1/3 of the regulars.

It was alot easier to have Melinda explain things to 2 people, rather then just to her husband.

The man in the hat:
IMO is the servant of the devil, maybe the anti-Melinda.
But someone sent the message to the surviving girl what Melinda needed to do.(GOd? Angel?)

My reasoning on the Devil-All his followers went down. He is a spirit that can lead them away and come back.

Melinda won the many, but will she succeed with Andrea? Will the show survive without Andrea.
They had a unique friendship, that was a part of the show, as important as her and her husband, for the show.
Unless they can find another good relationship, it won't survive with just the couple.

She was a key element to the show.
I was wondering with my OP if they were ready to jump the shark, but now I wonder if they have sunk the whole show.

Like I said, it was one of the best shows they have ever done, but it was the worst twist for the show.

Great shock value but will their be another full season?
Or will it flop after the Andrea crosses over?

I will miss Andrea's ability to lighten it up...

I hadn't even been THINKING about the impact that Andre's death will have on the show. I don't think it will be half as good, even if if she sticks around as a ghost or they get a "replacement friend" for Melinda.

pretty risky, killing off a main character when you only have 3 regular characters.

They still haven't cleared the OP problem, of the Evil spirit's power over the dead.
He can try to talk Andrea into following him, but she must choose, so he has no power.

Thanks I'm going to have to find these last couple episodes somewhere and watch.. I wish Ghost Whisperer had a re-play night like so many shows do.. I'm not really able to watch it at it's scheduled time.. so I see bits and pieces and then get confused LOL.

It seems awful drastic to do in a major character like that....

Without warning, was going to tell how it played out but better to watch.
It was awesomely twisted.
