  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I can tell I'm nearing the 3rd trimester because it's starting to get difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position.

If I lay on my left side, she kicks continuosly, and I have a hard time breathing, if I lay on my right said (usually my preferred) my shoulder hurts and she kicks. If I lay on my back with 2 pillows I still feel short of breath... 3 pillows is too uncomfortable for my neck. Eventually after a lot of tossing and turning I find a comfortable position by it can take a while to find it. Anyone else relate?

not there yet this time but i rember it soo well the last time...

what i done was put a pillow between my legs. it just seamed to ease the presure atlittle. but you wont stop the kicking. when you lie down more blood rushes to the baby and they move lot more.

iv heard spme people actually steep in a chair at the end to dull down the kicking. i never done it but you never know it could work for you.

I'm past that now- I can't sleep at all. My hips feel like they're on fire. If I end up laying on my back or left side, I wake up gasping for air. I wake up to go to the bathroom around 2 am or so and end up staying awake until about 6, but then have to get up when my 4 kids wake up bright and early. You'd think with only 5 weeks left, there would be a light at the end of the tunnel, but NO, that's when the fun gets started!!!!!! She will definitely stay a night in the nursery so I can at least get one night of sleep. I'm also glad that since she's dropped, she is starting to move a lot less although her movements are a little more painful.

I guess I'm getting there...For some one being 8 months I'm pretty lucky to be able to sleep o.k, it is annoying when I wanna go to sleep and I'm on my side and she starts kicking but good thing it doesn't really keep me up or wake me up.

Oh geesh, this reminds me of how miserable I was towards the end of my last pregnancy, I was the biggest with my last... I had to sleep straight up and down with 3 pillows to my back, and had a hard time to get to sleep and had to get with the kids early.
