  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi,

Don't these verses prove that Gentiles are included into Israel therefore they have to obey the same commandments Israel were given in the Torah? -

Ephesians 2:12 says, ''remember that you [Gentiles] were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world''.

Romans 11:24 says, ''For if you [Gentiles] were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these [unbelieving Israelites], the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.''

Thanks

Hi Ultra.immaculate,

Welcome.

Thank you for bringing forth this crucial question.

I created a thread on this very subject here: Wild Olives and Torah

Feel free to post my quotes from that thread here; should you have any more questions.

Is Messianic Judaism included into Israel? If the interpretation of 'Israel' is from a racial perspective, Can Messianic Judaism change the race of people with such ideological tendencies?

If I were to tell the Jews that I am an Ephraimite, they would not agree that I could attend the synagogue as a Jew. The 10 tribes of northern Israel have actually been assimilated by foreign countries and are not recognized by southern Judah as the part of nation of Israel.

Indeed, will we see the sons of Jacob, who remained in Egypt, in the Exodus, in the kingdom to come?

Will we see the mixed multitude, who took the vow at Sinai, in the kingdom to come?

Yashar Al (ישראל) is spiritual.
