CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wouldn't a better use of our time as Christians be to pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their sins, so that they may be drawn to Christ through God? Wouldn't a better use of our time be to witness to these people? I don't often pray like David, where I beg God to smite my enemies or wicked people.

In Bargarh district, another orphanage was torched and a young woman was burned alive after she was thrown inside the building when she tried to protect the children."
Why is this not on the news everywhere??

You have to plugged into groups like VoM or Christian Persecution or CSI to find out this kind of news~~not that I'm any defender of the media, but if they spent all their time on real religious persecutions-the kind that involve blood and prison and torture (and not just Christian but against all faiths) it would be all they'd talk about.
