  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I really don't understand it. And I hope someone could explain to me the following. A non existant "force" (God) had created everything while still been non physicaly existant. It is also not mentioned that the time (as in hours, minute etc..) was created at the time. Meaning that he was not bounded by the time, however the days when he created things are still mentioned. Moving along. 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. This means that "God" created light. However he didn't seperate it until the next day. "1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.". Moving along. "God" created light in verse before. However, he didn't create the sources of light until the fourth day to create the sources of light "1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also."
