  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Exodus 20:

4 You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,
Call it a generational curse or consequence. It makes no difference in terms of breaking it.

1 John 1:

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
After the generational curse, there is also the generational blessing, Exodus 20:

6 but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Love God. That's how you fight the generational curse or consequence. Focus on love, not on the curse. Focus on the present, not on the past.

2 Corinthians 5:

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

2 Corinthians 5:
If a generation were only 25 years, which is much less in years than it actually is, but just to show the utter Mercy that God is actually revealing;

God states recognizing iniquity for 75 to 100 years and then contrasts that to showing mercy for 25,000 years!

He's Awesome, for sure!

I don't know. It's already been 2000 years since Jesus. An actual Hebrew Generation is approximately 30 years, so we only have 28,000 years of mercy left! Getting nervous!

:p
