Bio: His father ran off when he was 10. His mother died when he was 12, leaving him alone. He later found out that his father was killed by a dragon, which brought joy to his depressing life. He did was he had to do to get by, resorting to stealing. He made a mistake, though, and tried to steal from a retired sword master.
The master decided that Takeo showed skill, and taught him the sword as well as martial arts. It turned out that his master wielded the Jade Blade, a sword made from Jade on a full moon, endowed with magic. The blade is industructable, able to repel magic. Takeo traveled the East with his Master. When Takeo was 18 his Master died in his sleep. Takeo was sure he was posioned. Due to his master's standing, Takeo was sure that the murder was done by the Emperor. So, with the Jade Blade in hand, he joined the army to get close to the emperor.
With his considerable skill of the sword, Takeo quickly rose in ranks, soon becoming General Otori by his 25th birthday. The Emperor decided to travel to the west. General Otori was chosen as one of his guards. On the Trip General Otori killed the Emperor with his master's sword and fled from the Orient.
