Hi all,
My name's Liam, I'm a 4th year engineering student, Brisbane, Australia.
To get it out in the open, I'm still looking when it comes to spiritual understanding but at the moment I'm at a weird sort of point between being agnostic and gnostic. ie. I believe there's something/someone out there far more powerful then myself. As to whether they had a hand in the creation of existence is debatable and whether they are beyond my comprehension is also debatable. Whether or not I ever know is irrelavent to me as long as I never stop searching for the truth.
One thing I am not is Christian. I went to catholic primary and secondary schools and so have had a fairly religious upbringing. Took me a while to see what I believe are irreconciliable flaws in the faith and so have left it to decide for myself.
Anyway, I'm on this board to have some interesting discussions with people of different views in an effort to further my own understanding. Before people ask "Why join a Christian forum if I'm not Christian?". It's because I've struggled to find Christians on the internet who can have a proper debate about their religion. I'm hoping this is the place.
