Game of the year?

Just woundering what you all think should be the game of the year. Its mostly between GTA: SA, KOTOR 2, Metroid Prime 2, Halo 2, and Half Life 2.

Its oviously, the year of sequals...lol

I think the two really serious contenders are likely going to be Halo 2 and Half Life 2 -- both as the most innovative shooters/games for their respective platform types. As I haven't given HL2 a go yet, my vote has to go with Halo 2 =: P

definantely the Sims 2. I like the fact that you can control how youre own person lives. cool.

i honestly dont think halo 2 deserves it... its very boring, and needed to have alot of things in the game sorted out before release... ohwell thats what you get when you push to get it out for a deadline...

Dude, Halo 2 was pushed back almost as long as HL2. Halo Rocked and with the exception of a few to large Mulitiplayer levels and the pistol its GREAT!!!
But I do love Half Life 2.

Just wait til next year when Timesplitters Future Perfect shows how boring Halo really is.

The games that I played that could get Game of the Year are:

MP2: Echos
Halo 2
and saw some gameplay from KOTOR 2 from my friend playing it.

For me I liked the first Halo better than Halo 2 and MP2 I liked just as well as the first, and I didn't get enough time to try KOTOR 2. So I really don't know who will get game of the year.
