Game of Deduction

This game has taken many forms, in board games, game shows, etc. Basically, the point is to figure out a word through a series of deductive guesses.

So, as an example, the word is Teeth. The word is specified as being 5 letters. UserA guesses Beans. The poster of the puzzle replies, stating the number of letters that are consistent between that word and the desired word versus how many are placed correctly.

In beans, there is only one letter common with teeth, the e, which is also in the same spot as the e in teeth. Thus, the reply will show 1 (the number of letters correct) :: 1(the number of letters in the right place).

As an example I will complete the game:

BEANS - 1::1
EATEN - 3::0
TELLS - 2::2
BIRTH - 2::2
TESTY - 3::3
TEETH - 5::5

When a game is completed, the poster who solved it earns the right to start another.

RULES:

1. Patience. Don't post in rapid succession. Don't assume you've solved the puzzle; wait for input from the poster(hereafter referred to as the Mastermind). Also, only three guesses may exist between updates. Any in excess should be ignored.

2. Same time posts are to be the luck of the draw. The post that was completed first takes priority.

3. Have fun!

4. A limit of seven letters per word; no spaces!
