  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Thanks for your kind words. I don't sell pictures except in special circumstances, but if you PM me, I can arrange to let you have a high resolution digital print that you could have printed up, free of charge. They are copyrighted, but you could have one for your own use.

Looks like an interesting place to visit. What kind of camera did you use? They have fisheye lenses even or phones now.

Or was this a filter? It looks like it might be the GIMP apply lens filter.

The circular image was done by taking many images to cover 180 degrees in both axes, then processed in Microsoft ICE, with the "orthographic" option.
Ah more extensive than I thought then. So it covers the entire 360 degrees? That is cool. It makes me wonder if they could animate it so that you could rotate to see each part.

No. I'm thinking 2-D, so it's 180 in X and Y axes. There are cameras that will do that, however. And if I had the patience and the time, I could do it. But the discortion would be impossible on a 2D format. There's a way to simulate it, though. Years ago, I did a360 at Alamo Plaza, and if you scroll through a large image, it gives the impression of turning around on the plaza.

I'll see if I can find it, and direct you to it.
