That thread is at 50 pages already, a bunch of people with one line responses. The poll is not worth voting in because neither alternative is really acceptable as many in the other thread noted. There is a middle ground.

I don't like it either, but those are the only 2 options he is giving us right now.

Please understand I am not trying to slam anyone here. So what I say I hope is taken in the right way.

If option 2 means going back to the old system then that could negatively impact several here. The old system not only included a ban on annihilationism but had fairly frequent "orthodoxy" checks of members based on the Trinity.

Those who have recently expressed anything resembling the classical definitions of

Tri-theism
Modalism
Nestorianism

could find themselves removed from a future "Christians Only" section.

I really don't want to go back to those days.

What is the reason the poll is being taken in the first place. What is happening to prompt the poll.

Some think Erwin sold out and gave too many rights to non-Christians.

There were no exceptions under the old system...well..maybe for Nestorianism because it is so popular among certain segments.

Yup which is why neither poll option is really helpful. I think there was some Erwin comment deep in those comments...but I am not reading it all to find it.
