I went and took a look at the forums already in place. They include "penpals", the Broadway Stage, the Gamers Zone, Chess, Dance, Let's Jam..

I am sure that those things are very high on God's priority list.

Futurist view of eschatology is a major part of Christianity. It is broad across many denominations. Given that futurism is at least as important as those other forums, I can't understand what is the objection.

Bump. Futurists are badly in need of our own futurists only eschatology forum. There have been over 1400 views to this thread. So there is interest. What is the status of the moderator discussion that was supposed to have taken place regarding this issue?

I was just over at CARM in their bible prophecy forum. They have the same problem over there with preterism derailing all threads. It only takes one person who is a persistent preterist poster to completely derail the entire forum so that what happens is all the threads become about debunking preterism.

Please give futurists our own forum.

The current forum already discriminates from full preterism and their challenges to the non-full preterist view. Also there are forums for Christians only.

I am not suggesting any change to the current eschatology forum. It would not affect you, except the reality that most futurists don't want to waste their time with preterists, so you will have the entire forum to yourself and them who want to discuss with preterists. You could still make as many posts you want within the current eschatology forum challenging the futurist position all you want.

I am suggesting a separate forum for futurists because in the current forum preterist posts disrupts the continuity of threads altering the topics into futurist versus preterist.

That's big waste of time from what the real discussion should be about, because preterism, full or partial is such a preposterous position. For that reason I am suggesting a futurist only forum, separate from the current eschatology forum. Within futurism, there is plenty of disagreement over the different topics.

I am bumping this thread again. There are more than 2120 views, which is a 300 view increase since last months bump, which again definitely shows an interest in a separate futurist only forum.

Please compare the number of views of this thread with the other suggested forums threads in this forum.

Please give us futurists our own forum, so that we don't have to be encumbered by preterists and historists, in our discussions.

There are times I very much want to debate Preterists. But I alos make threads clearly deisnged to be a debate beween Futurists that a Preterist cna contribute nothing to, but get trolled by Preterists anyway.

Yes, I definitely want a futurist only forum.

Riverrat over at the eschatology forum started a thread that the eschatology forum should be renamed the Preterist Forum because all of the threads get derailed into a debate centered on futurism versus preteristism.

I don't know why futurist cannot have our own forum unless the powers in charge enjoy forcing futurists debate preterists thinking that is what eschatology is all about.

Ok. The first thing we need to do is see how much interest there is in a Futurest forum. We really don't want to create a forum that won't have any activity. Can you PM everyone you think is interested and see if they will post here so we can get a sense of how active it would be?

Hi everyone! It would be wonderful to have a forum especially for like minded Christians who believe all prophecy will have a total fullfiment in the future. I am a bible believing Christian who is an evangelist at heart. If the prophecies of the past have become all true to 100% fulfillment, of course the prophecies of the future will likewise become true. There is no doubt about it. I also believe that people can come to and trust in the Lord our Savior and God by the means of prophecy. The Lord has used bibe prophecy for my own faitth and my salvation. It has brought excitement to me about the time in which we live today. I also vote for a futurists forum!

I am still waiting for the changes. The current eschatology forum is getting worse with a preponderance of off the wall posts.

With a futurist only forum - at least the problem would be cut in half. It is not the total solution, because there are some wacky theories being presented in the eschatology forum that could make it's way into a futurists only forum - but at least a futurist only forum would cut the nonsense by at least half.
