This thread is to share about your fur babies.

Mine:
Luna (my cat prior to marriage). She is shy around strangers but very attached to the few people she trusts. She talks constantly and is my shadow. I've been told when I'm not at home she sits by the door and waits for me.

Voji: (hubby's cat prior to marriage) Voji is a dog in a cats body. He loves everyone, is playful, and is scared of nothing.

Lovely thread! I Love reading your description of every cat in your family. It also made me laugh and smile, a good start for this new day put in front of us!

Luna has beautiful eyes, they are even green around it? Voji looks so cuddly. Both are beautiful cats!

This is our dear dog Stjerna, she is a Finnish Lapdog. She is a very sweet and loveable dog, yet can be very stubborn and are definitively a watch dog!

She can be very picky with food, and leaves the food which she doesn't want to eat on the floor beside her food bowl. Sometimes she protests against eating food she finds boring after a while, although she won't go hungry for many days before she ends up eating it, if we don't give her anything else. She likes to move her food and other things with her nose, also when in a state of protesting. She loves going to the kitchen, we sometimes call her Stjerna Beggins(similiar to Frodo Baggins in the Lord Of The Rings).

She is a very active dog, likes to play, run in the forest, jump... She loves the snow and cooler weather.

Funny enough; She is a dog with sometimes some cat tendencies. One given example is that sometimes when you cuddle her she rubs herself to the wall or couch, similiar as when a cat is doing this whilst purring. Haha!

Thank you! And yes that is my hubby's arm - a Lord of the Ring/Christian tattoo and a Celtic/Nordic dragon knot tattoo that has a green eye (I have green eyes). His right arm has our 5 year anniversary tattoo - a tree symbol with elvish writing (he has the name of a human warrior and mine has the name of the elvish princess he fell in love with).

I’d love to have a cat or dog, but it won’t work for us at this stage of our life. I had a sweet dog (family dog) named Midnight....the sweetest black lab! I miss her so much! She got old and passed a few years ago. I’ll try to find a photo. I don’t see one on this phone.



Now I love spending time with our “neighborhood cat”. She loves spending time with all of our neighbors you’ll see her wandering around across all of it houses. We have water and a bit of shade for her, and she’ll come running to have us pet her for awhile, even when she is across a few yards. She’s a cutie!



I’m trying to think of a name for her, but right now she’s just “Kitty”. She might even be a he but she’s not the type to be happy about you holding her up to check, lol

You can’t see her very well, but here is a selfie a few years ago with Midnight (our black lab) in her last year with us. She loved to cuddle, as much as she could with her joints at the time.

Years later, I still sometimes do a double take when I walk by her spot where she laid at the edge of the living room or when she doesn’t come to the door when we come in. Miss her so much!

Here is a very sad one for me. This was taken about a year ago.

Artie was 21 years old here, and in his last moments of life. His systems had started shutting down. Complete renal failure. He could not swallow. He faced a very painful time for a few days until he passed, so we tried to make him as comfortable as possible and had the vet put him down.

He loved to sleep right between us.
