Funny things you do with your kids

Okay well last July I think my nephew(he's 7) asked me to teach him how to play chess. I'm a moderate player at best, only learned the game myself two years ago, when my husband taught me. Anyways, I've been following the rules.

At first he would loose very quickly or I'd spend all the time telling him he can't do that with that man.

Now it's getting funny-- while he's yet to win a game, he's now able to let me pick off all his other men until the Queen....he still thinks I should let him win but we get the giggles over it.

You have such an important place in your nephew's life. He'll never forget this stuff. Someday he'll be teaching his kids how to play chess and telling them stories about your games with him.
