I discovered this author a while back, and read her stuff pretty regularly. For anyone with a large family there is a lot of stuff to relate to here. Just thought I would share the link:

I know National Review is generally political but her column is not, I promise. Oh yeah her names is Meghan Cox Gurdon, she is a Catholic and here are some choice quotes from her articles:
I find her really funny and just wanted to share!

I know National Review is generally political but her column is not, I promise. Oh yeah her names is Meghan Cox Gurdon, she is a Catholic and here are some choice quotes from her articles:
Ten minutes ago, I was conscientiously trundling bags of newspapers and glass bottles out to the sidewalk for recycling. Nine minutes ago, I was rattling a front door that had uncharacteristically locked itself behind me. Eight minutes ago, my nose and extremities began to freeze. On possibly the coldest day in Washington, ever, I am trapped outside, while inside the house there is a banana-wielding two-year old wearing a tutu. There's also a pot of beef simmering on the gas stove. I do not know which will be the more combustible, if I don't get in soon.
The birthday party is a huge success. We play Freeze Dance to the Go-Go's, a freshman-year favorite of mine and Musical Chairs. Only three children cry from the chagrin of losing. The first is Violet, who fails to find a spare chair and retreats behind a sofa gnashing her teeth and rending her raiment. By the time we've lured her out we lose Benjamin, who falls hara-kiri-like on the floor and won't look up until he has mastered his disappointment. When Phoebe loses, she screams piercingly until someone picks her up.
I find her really funny and just wanted to share!
