I understand why the debate and "ask" sections were removed from the Fundamentalist forum. But now it is becoming filled with posts and threads by non-fundamentalists and non-Christians. I don't report these posts because it is good for us to have these discussions. However, there is now no place for Fundamentalists to fellowship and discuss things amongst ourselves. So instead of asking for the "ask" forum to be brought back, I'd like to instead request a subforum for just Fundamentalists to enjoy.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hi again, I just got word back. they are going to talk to the advisors about it.

Tishri also said this:
Congregations are like a mini Church and nonFundies are the guests and can post fellowship, that is all..

Report posts that are of debating nature: disruptive..etc.
There is nothing wrong with asking a question and having a discussion about things.. another thing if they go too far and violate rules..

Hi Des,

I'm bringing this to the advisors for consideration. How do you feel if the "ask a fundy" forum was returned? I think that would give the non fundies a place to post their questions and keep the main forum clear.

Either way works fine for me, Henry.
It's not that I want others to stay our or anything. It just does not feel like a place where fundies can gather right now, and I think having it split up to some degree would be helpful. The "ask" forum did seem to work pretty well, except that many newer members didn't seem to notice it and would just post in the main area. Then staff had to keep moving their threads into the ask forum. That's the main reason why perhaps a subforum specifically for fundies might work better. Your call, though. I'm happy either way.
