  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I enjoy all the classes I'm taking (but then at this stage, I'm in serious trouble if I don't enjoy them all). Quantum physics, electrodynamics, and astrophysics should all be great. Of course I'd say I'll most enjoy the introductory course I'm teaching.

I'm taking six Library Technology classes, and a History of East Asia class. I'm going to try to find out from the piano teacher if I can add piano too, because I'd really like to learn more piano. I think my most fun and interesting one will be History of East Asia... but some of the other ones will probably be fun too... but I'll find out after they all start up. :)

Okay here's the Weirdest college course name EVER: (maybe)

My brother's taking a course called "Living with the Undead" ... :o

It's described thusly: "This course introduces students to the vampire in myth, literature and film, and examines the ways in which the figure of the vampire has been continuously reshaped by Western society to reflect changing sexual and social values. Through interactive lecture, discussions, seminars and written assignments, students examine and analyse a variety of vampyric characters and track the changing physical and social face of the vampire through 150 years of history."

He's actually a Human Resources Management major there but he took this mostly for weirdness value as an elective :D Would be interesting anyways ...
