• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
 • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

 • The rule regarding AI content has been updated. The rule now rules as follows:

I am working in microsoft frontpage and i want to create some links that, when you click them, will take you to another part of the page. This would be much easier than creating a new page for each topic area. So, how do I create a bookmark and get it to actually work so that if you click a certain object on the page it will take you to ,say, the bottom of the page? PLEASE HELP!

You have to create name anchors.

Named anchors are often used to create "table of contents" at the beginning of a large document. Each chapter within the document is given a named anchor, and links to each of these anchors are put at the top of the document.

For example:
This is say at the middle of the pageUseful Tips Section

Then you would place an link to that section of the page like so
Jump to the Useful Tips Sectionby adding #tips to the end of the url of your document it tells the browser to jump to the anchor within that document.Make sense?

In Frontpage:
1. Open the web which is to be linked.
2. Highlight the title or first word of the part that you want to jump to. Then in the top menu bar, select Insert > Bookmark...
3. A dialog box opens, where you can edit the name of the bookmark. You should take out any spaces and replace them with underscores. Some browsers don't like the spaces.
4. Click OK. You have created a "name anchor".
5. Save the page.
6. Next open the page that contains the link.
7. Highlight the link, press Ctrl-K.
8. An "Insert Hyperlink" dialog box opens, select the page you saved in step 5. Click the "Bookmark" button at the right hand side. Then select the "name anchor" you created in step 4.
9. Click OK.
10. Save the page.
