From Saying to Saying

Ever since asking God for wisdom some time ago, "sayings", seem to come to mind from time to time. Having saved and shared many of them...have now the notion of sharing some of them here, with the invitation for others to perhaps share some of the "sayings", they have been given too, for the sake of stimulating deeper and more personal fellowship. And a complimentary verse or two of Scripture may be added also.

Starting off with -

"Freedom is not so much, not having anyone tell us what to do, as it is not having to be told what to do."


For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness... <-----> Romans 2:14+15

Once when I was psychotic I penned down a few lines as well, in just a few minutes, strangely they have taught me a lot over the years.

Meditation Hour.

A heart full of grace - has no trouble with sin.
To be able to listen well - we need much noise.
When the snake lifts his head - just bow yours down.
The darkness in our eyes is essential to see the light.
Open windows provide a far better view than drawn curtains.
A few good working tips minimise the need for heavy labour.
Love an evil person to death and a saint is raised before your eyes.
Awaking after darkness has fallen - means you missed the light as well.
A mind crazed by the guilt of sin is the best plough horse one can possibly find.
Love melts a heart of stone but beware fear bites deep when the heart is like jelly.
A mouth closed when it should speak pours burning sulfur when it opens.
Stones are useful building materials - don’t throw them at your enemy.
The deepest sea hides your greatest fears - don’t go swimming there!
Seeing in the light is a telling sight - yet to see in the dark reveals all.
To sing praises to God is to live the rhythms of His Eternal Melody.
The highest mountain is the Lord’s - you better be well prepared.
What greater greatness than The One we meet on our knees? ​

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opens not his mouth. <-----> Isaiah 53:7

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. <-----> James 2:17
