I'm going to impose an application for anyone who wants to call me their "friend". Here it is:
Do you understand the concept of "loyalty"?

How does "loyalty" and "commitment" apply to friendships?

In order to be my friend, you have to review and follow the application. Otherwise, I might even correct you if you get this view in your head that we are "friends" and start talking about it, all the while not treating me the way I expect to be treated. It has happened before.
Sorry if this is weird, but I guard my feelings these days, and I know what I want.
Edit: I was really hurting when I wrote this post and I had my "walls" up. I'm leaving this post up to discuss, but don't take it to heart.
