Friends

Hope I can post this here I have some asperger characteristics, but am diagnosed with other anxiety spectrum & particuliarly Social Anxiety with Panic.

Wondering if you have problems maintaining friendships & if you do what advice do you have for someone like me?

I kinda do, sometimes they dont want to keep in contact with me or I just email them lots and text them lots and they change their cellphone number, sometimes they just dont reply to the text, others they dont bother keeping in contact with me. I have got some addresses of friends but I have not written to them in a long time from old schools of mine. Others I cant just bother getting their adresses so I can keep in contact with them. I dont have any advice though.

My 2 boys have Aspergers.

They don't have problems maintaining friendships once the friendship is established, but some people don't want them as friends - and that's OK too.

Advice? As always, be yourself. The friends you make will be genuine, and the others are unworthy anyway.

Ur right about that Darkhorse. When I made my friends I was myself and they were cool with that. Take that advice gracechick and do what ever u can to make friends, be urself and u will be fine.

Thanks for the support. It's been rather difficult with some personal problems I ran into with certain people (who I trusted).
& a few months ago I lost one of my last remaining good friends when she refused to return my calls. I had people I hung out with bfore I developed severe panic.

U can say the same thing happened to me, a rumor that was spread bout me, a good friend did it and it wasnt true. Dont kinda trust that friend and that was the friend that has changed her ph number so I cant text her. Same thing again happened to me a few years back, diff story. I am on good terms with the person who went thru the rumor bout us and the person who spread it and another person who told it to a new person in Parker cottage (Salisbury School) I am not good friends with, u can say that we r both enemys.
