I will ask again where are we commanded to worship as Christians?Since we are commanded to worship in community I find it sad that you would disobey the Bible simply because you can't submit to any authority.
Jesus is alive, but we aren't Jesus, we are his followers who worship him as God. That is therefore religion.
Like i said, you worry about your obedience to God and i'll worry about mine. Case closed.Maybe there's something I'm not understanding, but it seems implicit in the concept of communion itself that you be in communion with some wider body than just yourself. Hence, if you aren't a member of a particular congregation, you can't really be "take communion".
NB: κοινωνία (koinonia), the Greek word for communion, also means "society" or "community" (among other things, I gather). You can't really have a society or a community made up of just yourself.
I will ask again where are we commanded to worship as Christians?

"And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our [worship] meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:19-25"
"And he himself gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 16 From him the whole body grows, fitted and held together through every supporting ligament. As each one does its part, the body builds itself up in love." Ephesians 4:11-16
"So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness." James 5:16
"All who believed were together and held everything in common, 46 Every day they continued to gather together by common consent in the temple courts, breaking bread from house to house, sharing their food with glad and humble hearts" Acts 2:44-46
"What should you do then, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a song, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the strengthening of the church." 1 Corinthians 14:26
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20
"Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you." Hebrews 13:17
Venerating and praying to saints, the papacy, succession of apostles, these would be the bulk of it i suppose.
You just an not tolerate the fact I do not have a religious leader involved in my life. I just do not need to feed steak to someone condemn me weekly for some sin I did not commit or tell me I am obligated to at least partial law while I eat beans. If you believe in God, the Supreme Ultimate or what have you- you're part of a religion. Non-denominationals are in a religion as much as Baptists, Catholics, Hindus, Buddhists, Pagans, etc.

Sadly you have altered the verse to support your own idea. There is nothing in the text indicating worship. If indeed your quote is from some version of the Scripture all I have to say is there is a version for everyone."And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, not staying away from our [worship] meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near. Hebrews 10:19-25"
All the leaders I have had are watching out for their pocket book.Again:
"Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you." Hebrews 13:17
All the leaders I have had are watching out for their pocket book.

This isnt about community, its about organized religion and how it has gone off the rails.Jesus was a Jew....His family were faithful Jews. Meaning they communed together with other Jews. They brought Jesus to the temple after being born. Mary finds Jesus in the temple teaching. Jesus didn't abolish our need for community.

I truly wonder how many people who attend church would die for what their church teaches and practices. I will not. I hope I will be willing to die for Jesus Christ. But I am not willing to die for what goes on in the name of God at Church.Eh. Maybe.
I find it at least a little curious that there is such a hatred for this specific word among Christians, of all people.
Hopefully this will show up (it's not a publicly listed video), but here is a video from the Coptic Orthodox youth, reading a poem that was written in the wake of the bombing of the Saints' Church (el Qiddiseen) on New Year's day in Alexandria in 2011. The English translation of its main phrase is off, but in the original Arabic (amout b'samout 'ala deen) it means "I'll die...but I'll die in my religion" (deen is "religion"; "faith" is iman, which is not the word used there):
It is about their willingness to be martyred for their religion. I would submit to this thread that for two millennia and counting, there has been scarcely a more Christian sentiment that can be voiced, particularly in their circumstances in North Africa in the wake of so many deadly attacks where exactly that happens.
(I don't know for sure, but I imagine if you went to Egypt and told people there that you hate religion, the Muslims would take it as confirmation that Christians don't really have any real beliefs, and the Christians would look at you like you're saying you're an atheist. I think this attitude towards one's own religion and hatred for its "organized" forms is pretty much a privileged western phenomenon, and a weird one at that.)

I am very familiar with your verses. Now where do they say worship? That doesn't make the command invalid.
Its verses 24 and 25
24 and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works; 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting [one another]; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh. KJV
The assembly, historically proven, was when the faithful would come together to take communion, which always involved worship.
I submit to the scriptures, they are my teachers. They are all i trust. I sure dont trust catholicism.Again:
"Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you." Hebrews 13:17
Good for you.I would be willing to die for my Church in the honor of all its martyrs, monks, priest, laymen, saints- and all those who have gone before me suffering to proclaim the resurrection of Christ.
To die in the name of Christ is the greatest honor one can have
