What do you think of the online RPG Games going Free To Play?

World Of Warcraft (Free up to level 20)
Everquest 2
Star Trek Online
DC Universe
Global Agenda
Ect

Do you play any of the free versions ?

I play EQ2 free and you can add Lineage 2 and LOTRO to that list. EQ1 will be going free to play in March.

Out of all of them, I find Lineage 2's free to play much better. It truly is free to play. You don't have the restrictions that I see in EQ2 or LOTRO.

I play Ryzom, which is free up to level 125 (paid up to 250). I really enjoy it and it's the only MMORPG I have ever played.

I play Need For Speed World occasionally. I used to play it all the time then they came out with two more console games, Hot Pursuit 2010 and The Run, both of which I thought where great games!

The only time a game goes free to play is when they are on the edge of closing down. Otherwise, they still find ways to get money from you from either an in game item store or having you pay after a certain point.

Well true, there are in game stores but most of the items are just game enhancers, they are not required to play.
