Free Grace believes that you are freely justified by his grace, cannot lose salvation. But Free Grace does not teach live however you want with no consequences. there will be consequences on this Earth, God will punish believers, chastise us may even take us home early. And you will lose rewards at the Judgement seat of Christ, But you don't lose salvation. Free Grace believe that one SHOULD live a good life, repent from sins daily, but not a MUST for salvation. Hypergrace believes that you should live however you want and will face no consequences, you shouldn't repent of sins or clean up the life, you shouldn't become a disciple, die daily, take up the cross, follow Jesus, etc. In fact some will say it is good to sin, and they use empty platitudes like "walking by faith" when they live wickedly and willfully sinning, that is the difference. Free Grace is always being accused of Hyper-grace but that's not true, in fact Free Grace preachers are often the hardest against sin and living a bad life. Paul was accused of this in Romans 3:8 and Free grace people are being accused of it today as well, whenever you preach that we are saved by grace through faith, or faith alone salvation, wicked people accuse you of being this hyper-grace teaching license to sin, promoting sin and living badly however it isn't true. I don't preach pro sin doctrine at all, there are absolutely consequences in this life when you sin, however you can never lose your salvation. Because salvation is a free gift. And there are people who infiltrate Free Grace and try to teach pro sin doctrines, telling people to go commit sins, but that is not what true Free Grace has ever believed or taught.
Make no mistake about it, salvation is a free gift. Jesus paid it all. but discipleship is not free, discipleship takes work and getting the sin out of your life, dying daily. You don't have to be a disciple to be saved, but you should be a disciple if you want rewards in Heaven, and to avoid punishment in this life.
Scriptures used:
Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Acts 16:30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Hebrews 12:6-8
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
1 Corinthians 3:13-15 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Jude 1:4 “For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Matthew 5:19 “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
