Books must make $.
So, many books do not go to press because the profit is just not there.
A writer may want to do a monograph, a personal interest item of explanation. But, the effort and time is just not worth it.
"It is the process."
First, a writer MUST write like his college professor would grant at least a "B" grade, even under the worst case of academic leniency, too tough for some people who could REALLY tell us somet ing... but not in very good English..
Next, a virtual forrest of publishers monopolize the roadway to delivery of the book to the intended reader.
Then, the publisher tells you he won't even read the book.
Just write a "one liner" type letter that is soooo great it sells him on reading more of your idea.
(Hey! That person is missing great opportunities in advertising.)
If you submit one, many rules a have been standardized.
You rra.ly MUST want to sell a book to conform to all this and there is way more, too. But, then you discover that the money doesn't go to the writer for the most part.
On and on, what the heck.
Myself, a scientist, I have been trained to find out stuff, send the info to a scientific journal, and know that it will be available to the other dozen or so interested science people.
But, there is no journal like this for a scientist digging into bible mysteries. Plus, when it comes to bible stuff, a lot of "priesthoods" will censor any reports they want to suppress.
Now here on the Christian Forum, for free and without all this aggravation, a new approach in publishing one's book as a journal is possible.
No doubt, the appreciative reader ought tithe CF.
But, a science person wants to disseminate Truth, not necessarily make sales or turn profits.
In the signature of this post. there are two links to journal reports which are being posted one or two pages at a time. If your interest in the bible includes never explained things, like The Urim and Thummim and that FAN which Jesus had in his hand to baptize people, [Matt 3:12], then link to the CF journal report in my signature below.
