Well, apparently I was wrong about my estimation of the length of my ban. I thought I was confined to subforum Siberia until the middle of December. Daryl has informed me that it ended on November 12!

Maybe we should have a PM sent to notify when the bans end...

It is unfortunate that you viewed your ability to post in the one forum you pushed for as "captivity." makes me wonder....

I don't really think of the last four weeks as 'Siberian captivity'. I was just Just having some verbal imagery fun Stormy. However, it was restrictive.

As much as I do enjoy this subforum, it is still very limiting to know one cannot venture beyond its boundaries. I suppose what it's really about is just knowing I have the option of posting anywhere if I want. When that option is taken away, the human soul fights to break free and unfetter the imposed limitations.

Again, just to clarify, what we have now is not what I have been pushing for. My ideal is to have this whole SDA forum reflect what we have here. No rules except the general Foru.ms guidelines, no SDA mods, no censorship on the main board, freedom of expression for both subgroups anywhere on the board.

Equal treatment given to both views of Adventism everywhere.

I have not forgotten this ideal and I will continue to push for it's realization. If this cannot be fully realized, then a split is the only option.
