I've read a couple of Francis Chan's books. We did one in a weekly group. I liked his books how he communicated the love of Christ. The down side is I never like things to get too intense. So I'd not try to live my faith as intensely as he does. But I don't think he is saying one has to be as intense about Christ as he is to be a good Christian.
