The moderation staff, during the process of reviewing our forum rules and updating them, has found that we have, in the past, over looked activity on the Messianic Judaism Forum that was in violation of the Christian Forum and Messianic Judaism Forum rules.

One activity involved the threads and discussions within threads questioning the deity of Yeshua.

3a) Messianic: A religious/faith group, of Jews and non-Jews, that believes and follows the Mosaic covenant given by G-d to all the Jews and also believes in Yeshua of Natzeret as the Jewish Messiah, G-d (HaShem) and deliver of all peoples.

Some forums on this website are provided for Christian discussion only as indicated in the Category Title. If we're going to have Christian-only forums, then we need to define who can post there. For that to happen, we need to define who we consider is a Christian for the purposes of posting in the Christian-only forums. This is not for any other reason. We make no aspersions on the person's salvation, faith or beliefs. It's only to ensure that posts in the Christian-only forums are of a particular type that conform to the contents of the Nicene Creed,......

While such discussion is certain to come up, and is definitely permitted within the scope of Christian Forums, it is not appropriate for posting in forums on the "Christian-only" side of the forum. Such discussion is therefore not appropriate for the Messianic Judaism forum.

Threads and discussions that are clearly stating proofs of His deity are permissible. Such threads should be clearly titled and the Opening Post should also be clear in stating the focus and intent, or premise, of the thread. All ensuing posts, discussions, apologetics and rebuttals in the thread must remain on topic.

In the future, threads that deny or challenge the deity of Yeshua, or that invite such discussion, will either be entirely removed or moved to a forum where the discussion can continue within the CF forum rules which would be in the area of the Froum not restricted to Christian and Messianic posters. It is most likely these threads would be moved to either General Apologetics or Unorthodox Theological Discussion. The intent of such move will be to allow the discussion to continue rather than shut it down. When such a thread is noted it will be closed until the OP can be contacted for input and a decision made.

Individual posts that stray into the area of challenging, or inviting challenge to the deity of Yeshua will be removed.

In both cases the poster will be warned.

Again, this is part of our ongoing effort to keep Messianic Judaism forum in compliance with the Forum rules and providing a secure environment for both mature members and newcomers to Messianic Judaism, alike.
