Unfortunately most complaints made about christians are generalized statements. We have all been guilty of this some time in our life. But all we can do is what we feel God leading us to do and what is correct to do by God's word. We can not change generalizations. Also, we do not have to change what we feel we want to say just because it may offend. We should always be prayerful and aware of what we say, but we don't have to change our ideas for someone else. We don't have to change who we are or our approach just because it's not liked. Jesus was criticized when He was outspoken. It didn't change what He had to say.

I appreciate your optimism and always have but the one thing I have learned about Erwin is that they only thing that he is consistent about as far as this board goes is his inconsistency.

Well, you're a non Christian on a Christian site.
Christians are constantly being put down for their belief in Christ, and told to keep it down. Here we can be free to express our beliefs.
There are right ways and wrong ways to disagree. People that hate and bash are wrong. That is disrespectful.

I will try to clean this up. A dear friend of mine use to say that opinions are not unlike certain needed orifices on the body . Everyone has one . LOL

I hope I don't get deleted for that one. Oh well. I agree with you...

I would like to see a defenition about blasphemy. What is blasphemy for one about Christ it is not for another. Maybe individual forums can define it for themselves... since they are based on different theology and faith expressions.

b. The act of claiming for oneself the attributes and rights of God.

2. An irreverent or impious act, attitude, or utterance in regard to something considered inviolable or sacrosanct.

I have been called evil, mislead, lost, the problem, incapable of understanding, etc...

I disagree with all of these labels, and I see these labels as a method of dehumanizing.

I don't believe I am that abrasive, yet I still get my fair share. It is not to tough to see why some might lash out every once in a while.

I find this extremely amusing; all this fussing and nonsense because of some changes to a INTERNET forum.
The name forum changed, GET OVER IT. Maybe Erwin will have it changed back or whatnot.
The forum is more open to nonbelievers and those pesky "Christians", GET OVER IT.
'Oh Boo Hoo, I iz leaving the site fer EVER cuz dat Erwin person lied and made changes without my consent and itz turnin' into one of dem secular forumz with those evil nonbelievers plaguin' our boards wit der evilness.' <-That is utterly pathetic. If you can't properly defend your Faith against criticism then that shows your weakness and maybe you should reevaluate your belief system.

But anyways...

Thank you Christians for giving me a laugh this afternoon.

You are correct. This will always take place. Some will engage their mouths/fingers before they totally engage the brain. That is something we all expect from time to time. It is in ones reaction to this stimuli that a true picture is displayed about ones place in this world...
