Unfortunately they got stuck in a pothole that bursted their tire and twisted the rim.

(I am so tired for all of them, poor guys....)

Fortunately...they had a spare and one of the men had a sledge hammer and could fix the rim so they could at least put the tire on!

unfortunately they did not have a air pump so could not pump up the tire. They had to wait for someone to help.

Fortunately, while they were waiting from someone to come and help them, they decided to build a fire. They had a fantastic time hudling around the fire, singing and sharing some snacks and taking well-deserved naps. Then someone came by. He had an air pump and pumped their spare tire and even repaired the other tire. Well rested they started on the road again and for miles enjoyed the beautiful snow covered landscape.

fortunately the truck drivers friend had a house up ahead where they stopped for the night. They all slept snug in the straw in a old barn.

Fortunately they all worked together and found the ring....plus worked up a sweat....so they were warm to start the day.
