  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Can you forgive somone if they havn't repented? In regards to if they have done somthing towards you.

Please have scrpiture that clearly backs up your view point.

The Bible instructs us to forgive someone who has done something towards us, even if they do not repent.

Mt 6:14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Mt 6:15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mt 18:21 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
Mt 18:22 Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven

Mr 11:25 "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
Mr 11:26 "But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses."

Eph 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.
