Trapped in sin
Black as coal
All hope gone
Heart of stone
Man so pure
Without sin
Came to earth
To die for men

He was nailed on a cross
Nearly two thousand years ago
He came and gave His life
As a sacrifice
So that we could be made whole
Now He beckons you me
To come to Him to be set free
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oo forgiven

On my knees
Bowed in prayer
Asking God
To meet me there
Up in heaven
A clean slate
His blood has wiped
My sins away

He was nailed on a cross
Nearly two thousand years ago
He came and gave His life
As a sacrifice
So that we could be made whole
Now He beckons you me
To come to Him to be set free

Now I’m free
So I serve Him
Every day
To worship Him

Angel’s rejoice
For He’s saved me
Because of my choice
