Basically

1) the woman was 7 months into her pregancy - so over the recognised limit in the West for a viable birth.
2) was forced to have the abortion- she had no choice

In a country that has 13 million official abortions and sells 10m abortion pills annually this might not be such a revelation. But the issue is illustrative of the contempt for human rights shown by the Chinese. In practice a baby can be killed right up to the moment of its first breath.

For those who suggest that China will rule the world- what kind of world would that be!!?

I wanted to debate this in politics but for some strange reason it is not regarded as a political issue I just got into trouble last time I did this.

So I wonder if pro-choicers would care to tell us whether they support gendercide too.

Enthusiastic supporters of abortion claim that a women has the right to get an abortion at any time, for any reason.
What about in China and India where millions of women choose to get an abortion for no other reason than the fact that the fetus is a female?

In China, over 7.3 million baby girls are aborted every year. Because of gender-selective abortions, China now has a gender ratio of 120 boys for every 100 girls. To really get an idea of how shocking that number is, consider that only around 8.2 million baby girls are actually born in China in any given year. In other words, if you are a female fetus, you have a 47 percent chance of being aborted!

And if selective gender abortions are allowed, what will be the effect of the gender imbalance in the future?
There will obviously not be enough women for every man. With so many men that cannot find a woman, this will be likely to lead to higher rates of crime, prostitution, and rapes.
For human males, sex and female companionship is a biological need. Without enough females, there will be violence and suicides. This is going to be a huge problem.

Are "women's rights" worth it?


In fact, it's not just the unborn. A few Chinese women are dumping their girl babies into rivers, or selling off their little girls off to sex-trafficers to get rid of them.

The amount of death in China is heartbreaking...

If you have a second child, the state will force you to abort. If you continue having children after that, the state will forcefully sterilize you...

Tens of millions of babies have been killed as a result of either forced or sex selective abortions... Chinese couples are so selfish, they just want to have one child and live lavishly.

I pray for all those aborted babies...including my sister....
