For 6 years I helped take care of my ailing dad. He had diabetes, heart problems, and was on dialysis for 4 years. So I know how difficult it is to care for someone, esspecially when they have been given a death sentence. It seems like you are going through a constant emotional roller coaster ride. I just want to encourage you to keep caring for your loved one. I promised my dad I would be there for him to the very end and that when he passed I would be there holding his hand. God allowed me to fulfill that promise to my dad.
Thank You Lord!! And I have to say it was the most fulfilling time of my life when all was said and done. I know it is difficult to watch helplessly as loved one suffers and whithers away. But knowing you did all you could for that loved one that you could possibly do makes all the sacrafices worth it. So keep it up and keep doing what you are doing. In the end you will not regret it!!!
