For my mum

not sure if this is the wrong section, but my mum has terminal breast cancer and I visited her today. she cant stay awake, she has broken ribs from bone cancer and fluid in her lungs. I lost it after I visited her today and have cried constantly. I have work tommorow and I dont know if I can face it. I dont know why God is allowing this to happen or what good can come of it.

...it hurts to hear that, Ben. I've been through something similar, and I'm very sorry this has come about for you to face. My prayers and love are with you. If I could be there with you, I'd just put my hand on your shoulder and sit there in silence with you as you deal with this.

Ben your pain must be deep now. I ve been there myself, sometimes we simply don't know why this has to be. But because of the awful fall and curse we are under sin and death. However Christ trampled down death by His perfect death. He is with you at this time. He came down to suffer as we do, to partake of what it is to be human. Fully human,. Remember we have a good God despite what you see your mother going g through, He will carry her and you through. You Will see the glory of the Risen Lord and that glory will overshadow this suffering so much it will not even be comparable. Bless you brother, praying for you both,
