Howso? How does Canada prevent criminals with life setences from killing when they escape? By threatening to make them watch Howie Mandel stand-up?

This is why the death penalty should be abolished. Even one innoncent death is one too many.
How often do people escape, and then kill, in Canada??
All the time. It happens all the time.
(The point here is that I have no idea if it happens all the time. I just like your way of stating your opinion without backing it up, when support should be easy to find. This game is fun, I'm glad you started it.)
It depends on our motives.... if we jail people to protect others from their behavior, it is loving towards those protected (and essentially neutral towards those jailed).... your family is just as safe from a killer in a well-built jail as they are from a killer who has been murdered by your government!! I grant that people in prison are often not safe from one another, but this is both a defect of prisons and a matter of choice for those who end up in prison....Putting people in jail isn't very loving either.

Also, if we jail people in order to teach them the wrongness of their acts, to educate them in the desire for peace and respect for the rights of others, (and for those who have committed less sever crimes) to teach them skills and a trade so they can contribute to society, there is none of the vengeance that would immoralize imprisonment....

Right, there's never been a case of someone in Jail getting a Hit done on a witness, or other people that testified aganst them has there ? (Note The answer is yes, there has been cases of this)
I would think this could just as easily be accomplished in the average ten years that a prisoner is sitting on Death Row.... if not, that speaks to some better security provided against this event, rather than the fact of a death sentence being imposed....Right, there's never been a case of someone in Jail getting a Hit done on a witness, or other people that testified aganst them has there ? No it just goes to show you that if you execute a murder, they can't murder again.I would think this could just as easily be accomplished in the average ten years that a prisoner is sitting on Death Row.... if not, that speaks to some better security provided against this event, rather than the fact of a death sentence being imposed....

I see, so you have nothing to say to refute the actual points I raised? Forgive me for being led to think you have a lust for the death of these people in your heart (which might not be dispelled even if they were rendered completely harmless by their imprisonment)....No it just goes to show you that if you execute a murder, they can't murder again.
