I've never been a big flirter, but every now and then a cute guy will catch my eye and I'll smile (or check his ring finger, lol!).
As I've gotten older, though, I've started feeling self-conscious about flirting. Mainly because I realize I could be "robbing the cradle" - if only for a moment. I mean, I'm in my mid-40s, and I'm not the best judge of age. So I think to myself: I could very well be flirting with some guy who is young enough to be a son (or at least a nephew!).
I've been told that *I* don't look my age, which makes me feel a bit more at ease -- not like I'm an old ogler.
But still...
Can anyone relate? Flirting can still be fun, but I feel myself not wanting to freak a guy out. The last thing I want is for some young man to fear he has a "cougar" eyeing him. LOL.
