Does anybody here ever watch that show?

Flip This House

That's a link to the site for the show. It's a program on A&E (cable channel), and it's so much fun to watch. They buy a house that needs some work. Sometimes the house is cheap, but most of the time it's a pricey place. They do a quick remodel, with a lot of help, and then resell for a higher price. It's just fantastic to watch. It makes me wish I could do that.

The team is always the same bunch of people doing it. They're a cool group of people, and their personalities are just funny.

I wonder if I'm alone in my love for that show.

*waits to see if anybody else watches*

You are not alone Adiya!!! I love this show too...I have even got my husband looking at it from time to time!!! I went to bed the other night and he was watching it on his own!!! LOL I guess that's a good sign because I've been wanting to do some renovations to our home and I'm hoping this inspires him.

That's great! I'm so glad that I found somebody else who enjoys it. I know there must be a bunch of people watching, but I don't know how many of them are on CF. It's so much fun to watch, because of all of the personality issues on there, and just because I love to see them rip something apart and put it back together all sparkly new again.

Did you ever see that one where they bought that HUGE home that had belonged to this multi-millionaire, and it had been left empty for so long that it had mice in it? That would have done me in right then and there. ^_^

It was cool to see how they got rid of all of them, and then fixed the place up so nice. It was a fantastic place. I couldn't believe it had gone to waste like that for so long. I can't imagine owning a home that's worth THAT much and just letting it sit there until the mice go in and take it over. Wow. Unbelievable. It sure looked cool at the end of the show.

Gee...I didn't see the one with the mice...LOL

did you see the one that this musician girl bought? It was left totally trashed and the ppl who were livivng in it didn't have running water or electricity for two years before they moved out? I bet the stench was horrible!!! She had to put alot of work and money into it and still made a sizeable profit because she bought it way below market price because of it's conditions....as ususal it looked amazing when it was done.

I saw the episode with the mice and as it turns out, the person who owned it was a doctor and he was killed in an accident. That's why it was sitting empty for so long. I agree with you though, I would have freaked out!!!!!
