I know it did else why are there stll f/e's still around ?
So the fact that there are still Hindu's and Buddhist's despite Christ dying and rising again, disproves Christianity?

Wake up ya all & watch Dean's video.
That would send me to sleep. What is it; 2 hours?
I understand it was a sermon. Worst example of preaching ever - ramble on for so long that your congregation have forgotten what you said at the beginning, and try to sound authoritative about something you have no clue about.
And he doesn't, because he wasn't there.

What you afraid of, that the truth may disrupt your globe world of deceitfulness ?
What are YOU afraid of - you can't even stick to your word that you will ask the Lord to help you if you have any doubts about the earth being a globe.
One little YouTube video - which says what you want to hear - and you throw your hands up; "I tried, I tried, but now I'm back on track."
Scared that Dean Odel might be cross with you?

Flat earthism is a faith much like theism. But there is a glaring difference. Christianity is faith in that; "faith is the evidence of things not seen." We believe in a God we cannot see, a creation nobody can actually prove, a resurrection no living person witnessed, and a future that would seem to defy what has transpired before. Flat earthism is also a "faith," except instead of believing in "what cannot be seen," it denies the reality that which can be seen. We can see an earth that is a "oblate spheroid" visibly and experientially. Yet flat earthers deny what they can see and experience and replace it with something obviously false.
So Christianity is a faith that believes in what cannot be seen.
Flat earthism is a faith that denies what is seen.

You don't really want to know the truth about the shape of the earth do you ?
I know the truth about the shape of the earth.
I was taught it in school - long before YouTube was invented. And unlike you I have no reason to say that my teachers, my dad, scientists, my husband and others are lying - that they are all part of the "they" who are trying to cover things up and mislead us.
Even you - long before YouTube was invented - once believed that the earth was a globe.
Sometimes I wonder why you even bother posting on these flat earth threads
I post on these threads because, although I don't care about the shape of the earth, which is unimportant and doesn't save, I care about Scripture, which does.
I care that you are interpreting Scripture verses in a certain way and then presenting them as though your interpretation is Gospel truth - even implying that those who don't agree will one day be in trouble with God.
I care because you are making out that the Bible teaches science/astronomy. It doesn't because that is not its purpose.
Supposing I were to say, "my dictionary mentions the word 'flour', I must look in it to find out how to bake a cake." Or, "my friend told me she used glue to mend a broken drawer, I must remember to report her to the police for using glue"? You would probably tell me that a) I didn't know the purpose of various books and b) that I had clearly taken something out of context.
But it's ok for you to do both with the Bible - and think that it can't be challenged because you have stuck the words "God said" on the end.

No I fear God.
Ironic considering that you intended to ask for God's help so that you could accept the truth of a globe earth - and then you weren't.

If you fear God, stop making out that his word teaches something that it was never written to teach. And admit that it's totally unimportant anyway - as you, yourself, once said.

Avoiding the question again.
Now you're mocking because you still don't want to answer the question you were asked.
Which was:
So the fact that there are still Hindu's and Buddhist's despite Christ dying and rising again, disproves Christianity?
If you are saying that the existence of Flat Earthers must mean that Flat Earth is true, then the existence of Buddhists must mean that Buddhism, and not Christianity, is true.
You were asked this; you haven't answered.

You can't care about scripture else other wise you'd believe every word in it & if you'd bothered to watch Deans video you'd understand this.

You mean like Genesis 1, the Bible teaches us more about the earth than you could imagine. Just ask.

You can't care about scripture else other wise you'd believe every word in it & if you'd bothered to watch Deans video you'd understand this.
For one thing that is judgemental and untrue. You know I am a Methodist lay preacher, yet you have judged that I don't care about Scripture.
Why?
Because you have evidence that I have misunderstood the Greek/Hebrew?
Because I have only accepted the views of certain theologians and thus do not have a full picture?
Because I haven't read many commentaries and am relying on my own ideas?
No - because I don't interpret Scripture the same way that you do, and you have found YouTube videos which back up what you believe.

And you tell me why I should waste around two hours of my life listening to one man debunking an expedition that he didn't even go on.
Would you listen to, and accept, a lecture on Wales, or some of its cities, from someone who had never been there?
Would you listen to someone explaining the life and habitats of a unicorn, when you know that it doesn't exist?
Would you listen to a sermon on interpreting the Bible, the importance of context, understanding genre etc? Doubt it; your theology won't let you accept that.
Would you go and listen to a 2-hour lecture on the earth being a globe and all the things which only happen because the earth is a globe? No; you've already made up your mind.

Come to that, should we listen to someone who doesn't understand science, who has previously said that Flat Earth is a load of nonsense and asked for God's help for when she has doubts, and who now us the earth is flat?

You mean like Genesis 1, the Bible teaches us more about the earth than you could imagine. Just ask.
What does the Bible teach us from Genesis 1? That GOD created the earth - end of.
Does it say what shape that earth is/was?
Does it say whether the trees were created fully formed or created as acorns/saplings and grew?
Does it tell us how God decided which animals should have fur, which should have fins, which should have skin or a shell? Does it give us information about their digestive and reproductive systems? Does it say that God created seaweed, algae or sea horses? What about shells? Crabbs or starfish?
Does it say how many different types of flowers God created? Does it tell us why some have thorns and some don't; why some are perennial and some only last for one year? Does it describe photosynthesis or why some flowers close their petals at night?
God created Adam and Eve - but their son was born in the same way that everyone since, including Jesus, has been born. Does Genesis describe that process? Does it teach us how Eve's eggs were fertilised and how the embryos developed? Does it teach us about chromosomes - the fact that A+E had sons was down to Adam because only a man has a Y chromosome.

All of the above, I learned in biology lessons, not from Genesis.

I go by what the Bible says.
Except for when you said that the deepest hole that has ever been dug was over 40,000 feet deep.
The Bible doesn't say this - you were told it or looked it up.

I don't need You Tube videos to back up what I believe I have the Bible & God.
