• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The human DNA does not grow. Cells do not divide and form our DNA. It is built by an organism propelled by flagelum. My argument here is intelligant design. All DNA in the human body is constructed and put in place in my cases without flaw.
Were did this body building machine come from? If it evolved, what could it have possibly done before it built the human genome?

Information theory and you: how random mutations add information to the genome

Cells do not divide and form our DNA.
 Right... I guess.

It is built by an organism called flagelum.
Hmm.. where to start. A flagellum is not an organism nor does it build DNA.

My argument here is intelligant design.
Argument? Where?

All DNA in the human body is constructed and put in place in my cases without flaw.
You don't have to ingest Vitamin C? Dude... you're going to be famous.

Were did this body building machine come from?
Your mom.... No really... oh, and your dad too.

If it evolved, what could it have possibly done before it built the human genome?
Our ancestors.

The Flagellum is an organelle that is either used to transport material in large multi-cellular organisms or move unicellular organisms. It does not construct DNA. The only way that DNA can be constructed, that I know of, is with mutations or a viral infection. The flagellum originated from a structure in bacteria that was used to transport proteins outside of bacterial cells.

The evidance against me.
I stand corrected.
We can correct you all the way to believing Natural history, micro and macro evolution, given enough time. We can also make a terribly strong case against Christianity if you want to go by evidence.

I stand corrected because I put information I thought was right but ended up being two topics I confused and put together.
If you would like to make the case, lets start it here and see where it goes.

No worries.. It happens.

How about you start with what you think evolution is and we can go from there.
