Thanks, ladies. I've sold 3 of these. The first two I sold for $50 in a craft sale and the money went to a children's home. Then I decided to raise the price to $75 for the one I sold in our church craft bazaar. It sold! This is the first I've attempted to sell to keep the money myself. If it doesn't sell I'll donate it again.

I crochet afghans, and never had success in selling them, for charity, or otherwise. People do not even want to spend what money is in it for the material. It's a lot of work for nothing.

It's really not a difficult pattern. The stars are a bit tedious but I really enjoy it.

That looks like a beautiful piece of art work. I can't imagine all the work that you put into that. The only attempt at crocheting I had, I decided to undertake the progect of making a king size afgan. I'm afraid I didn't know what I was doing. Three skeens of yarn into it and I had only made 5 rows, my mother in law asked to see it and it ended up being double the length of my living room and kitchen together. I felt stupid and never took it up again.
