First time of Angel in dream

I had a dream of an angel for the first time. My husband was not at home, he left for work, it was early am, still dark. So I was dreaming I was looking around in my room in the dark, and on my side of the bed near the end of the bed, was a floating outline of an angel, I could not make out any physical features because it was to bright,but I could tell from the outline it was an angel. Once I figured out what it was, in my dream I started to get really scared and I can't remember but I think the angel was sending some sort of message of don't be afraid, or either I was thinking it, I can't remember, but I think it was the angel. Anyway I started breathing funny because I was scared and woke up in the same exact position I was in my dream...that was really weird. The angel was not very big at all, not human size, smaller but floating mid air. It just was so strange to be in a dream in my room, in my bed, my husband was not in my dream because I was in the same spot when I woke up, on his side on my back. I remember kinda feeling my breathing funny when I woke up. Just was real to me. I also remember in my dream that I said to myself evil can be like a light...but it was an angel.
So I really don't know what it meant, but it was cool and scary.

Now that I think about it, when i went to bed I was praying to God about being scared and having fear. I tell him all the time I am sorry I get scared, so I don't know if that angel or light was trying to tell me not to be afraid. Idk..lol

Either way sounds like an interesting experience! Dreams are on of them things in my opinion that can be hard to interpret and/or understand.

Either way God is always telling us not to be afraid. God did not send you a spirit of fear, but of love.

So I wouldn't get too caught up in the dream, but I am glad that you shared. Very neat experience

Thanks, and I got the days wrong, I was praying about fear a few nights ago before this happened, but still it was a very weird experience.

I can't really sense the presence of God in that dream. Angels are messangers and there was no communication. The fact the angel was not a normal size is also 'off'. You were afraid, which may be natural when you meet an Angel, but you woke up scared. Overall, you said the dream was weird and scary..(but cool because supernatural experiences are interesting)..but I think what you told yourself in the dream is the key "i said to myself evil can be like a light"..

2 Corinthians 11:14

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

That's the impression I get. You wouldn't be thinking about evil if you had just seen an angel who had come from the presence of God. This dream may indicate that there is some deception going on in your life, where something you believe is good really isn't. Couldn't say for sure but that is my overall impression.
