First Fruits ?

Just wondering if anyone celebrates this... think it's today, right? The 17th of Nisan? What do you do to celebrate?

We are at my parents this weekend and going to their church tomorrow for Easter (we really don't do Easter... but we're here and are trying not to judge on how they celebrate the resurrection). Their church is having a potluck... I'm making Challah... for the first time... it's in my Mom's fridge right now rising. Hopefully it will turn out well. I'm making two loaves... one with poppy seeds and the other with sesame seeds

Do you place the Sesame seeds in the loaf or just on top? (I bake bread at the house myself)
