CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The mind is what we think. Love him in our thought life by talking to him all of the time in our mind. Thats what the Bible means by "pray without ceasing". The soul has to do with the feeling we put into it. Have you ever heard some one sing and then someone sing with some soul. It's like they really mean it. Make sure your love is sincere. The heart is pretty much the same as soul but we must love with our heart before any of the others can be done. THats why it is mentioned first. If we don't love with our heart, we are not saved and cannot love him at all. I know this can be improved on but there it is to the best of my knowledge.

I agree, it is saying to love God with everything you have, and to leave nothing back. Some people love God only with what they percieve as right, but it is really bringing up again the concept of surrendering yourself in your entirety to God!water_ripple said:I think the message means love God with every part of your being.
