History: Fingolfin was born in Rivendell, but his parents left, taking him with them when he was born. After a year they were killed by something, which Fingolfin did not want to talk about. A human couple found him and raised him for a while. Fingolfin left as soon as he was old enough, with a promise he would return some day and visit them.
