I am new to the forum, and thought I'd share some of my poetry.
One day a man walking in the woods
somehow lost his way.
So he dropped to his knees, looked up to the heavens
and he began to pray.
He said "Dear God, i need your help
to find my ways back home.
I have very sick children who are scared
and all alone."
Just than an angel appeared
"Follow the river and home you'll find,
but to help your children the word of God
you must always mind."
The next morning the man awoke
healthy children all around,
and when he got out of bed
a note he saw on the ground.
It read "I need your help
I have sick children who are scared and feel alone.
They need to know I'm always with them;
share my word I put in stone."
signed God
I am 26, a loving husband and father of 3, yes I did say 3 (kyle 5 in november, Nicholas 2 1/2, and Julianna 6mo) Me and my wife have been married since we were 20, but together at 16. I was raised Catholic, but walked away from God in my teens, too make a long story short, he has called me back to do his work and I have never been happier! I enjoy the idea of internet fellowship, and look forward to hearing from you.

I thoroughly enjoyed your poem! Please do share more on the creative writing forum! As you can see by my avatar, I ran from God, even after He marked me as a teen. Always HE watched over me, even in rebellion. Our wonderful Shepherd finally had to 'break my legs' to get my attention and since then, I have become completely and totally enamored of our wonderful Jesus!!! Every day He becomes more wonderful in my eyes and yet I can't imagine He could GET any more wonderful!!!
